Delete your Amaré account

Amaré is an app by KISSMA LLC. This page explains how to delete your account, what is erased and what is kept.

In the app

Open Amaré and go to Settings.

Tap “Delete my account” and confirm with “Yes, delete forever”.

Deletion happens right away and cannot be undone.

If you no longer have the app

Your account is tied to the installation of the app, so without it you cannot sign back in. Write to us and we will delete it for you.

Send an email to admin@kissma.org with the subject “Delete my Amaré account”. Include the name you used in the app, your partner’s name and, if you have it, your invite code, so we can find your account.

We delete your data within 30 days at most and confirm by email once it is done.

What is erased

Your anonymous account and your profile: your name, your language, your relationship stage, your goal and your faith orientation.

What you wrote and chose: your daily answers, your prayer requests and testimonies, your answers in the weekly quiz, in the games and in the couple quizzes with your results, and your marks on challenges. A challenge in progress ends.

It is also erased from the story you shared with your partner, and you will no longer be linked.

What is kept

Your partner keeps what they wrote.

Technical copies may remain in our providers’ systems for a limited time, under their own policies.

Usage events are kept pseudonymously and are no longer tied to your profile.

Purchase records for a subscription are kept by Apple, Google and RevenueCat for as long as the law requires.

Your subscription

Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription. Cancel it in your App Store or Google Play account settings.
